I captured some widows here (Houston, TX) that actually appear to be L. geometricus...anyway, caught them last week and now one has fashioned an eggsack in her house. What do I do? Do I need to do anything special? How long until hatching? And her house has pushpin-made holes in the lid...can the babies flee thru these?

Keep the eggsack in another cage. A big deli cup with small holes. Make the holes with a needle. Would take 1 month until they hatched.

It also occurred to me that I might just place the eggsack in the location where I found one of them. How does that idea sound? I don't think I'm ready or willing to deal w/bejillions (or 65) of baby spiders right now.
