Wow!

Oh, it makes me want a snake! My husband is terrifed of snakes, and so is my principal, so it doesn't look like I'll be getting one at work or school :(

Great pic!

Thanx :)
IMO you can't go wrong with a corn snake. This one is very docile and doesn't seem to mind being handled all the time.

I'm trying to figure out what would be the best snake for me to get. I have owned boas before, but I don't want to own anything that I'll have to graduate to rabbits for food. What would you guys recommend? I just want one that can be handled and doesn't get very big.

A corn snake would be great. They don't get big but are still impressive snakes. They're very easy to care for and come in so many different morphs you're bound to find one you like.

Laura....OR If you dont want a highstrung snake (like a Colubrid) you can get a sandboa!! theyre docile and slowwww! SLLLOOOOOOOOOWWWW.They only get about 24 to 30 inches long. They just like to hang out and dont get all twitchy and spaztic like a lot of corns and such. NOT THAT I DONT LIKE COLUBRIDS...I have a milksnake....evil, biting, thrashing, vile, wee monster, bless his pea pickin heart!! Did I mention BITING? UGH!!!

Sand boas are beautiful! I have handled a few before in the past and they seem very docile. I do like the different colors I see in corn snakes too. Don't some corn snakes get tempermental though?
