A friend of mine sent me this old picture.
We were on a trip and i had to carry lucy back up the mountain when she hurt her leg.

Oh man.....I just stumbled upon this post.....so sad

So sorry....it sucks, people who don't have that bond with animals especially a dog will never understand. It can hurt the same as losing a person if not more. Nothing helps, just have to give it time until one day you are left with great memories with alot less tears.



I lost the best dog I ever had in December 2017 and it still stings. I had her cremated and her ashes are in an urn. I had a shop do an engraving on the urn.

She's right next to my younger brother's urn. Talk about a table full of sadness

Life still goes on though and I have never got another dog. I don't want to go through that again.

I am sorry for your incredible loss. I don't know if you are mourning the same way I did and kind of still do but nonetheless I understand and best wishes.
