I bought my Lasiodora Parahybana last December 22, 2024 and I got a pretty small sling (2cm/0.79inches) and this morning, May 20, 2025 it molted for the fifth time in my care and its DLS is around 3 to 3.25 inches (7.6 to 8.3cm). I am only feeding it twice a week and from its molt I am guessing it was a female. I have read some threads that this T can grow at least 4-5 inches in a year so my question is, it this a normal growth rate or am I overfeeding it? 1000001474_11zon.jpg When I bought it

medium growth rate

when i bred the species i gave a few N1s to a friend who always feeds as much as they will eat and after a year his were even bigger than yours are.

In my opinion feeding twice a week is a lot, but at that stage you can't really overfeed them, that is more something to look out for once the intervalls between molts start to grow longer and longer.

You don't want a fat spider that still has a year plus to its next molt.

yours is looking good and healthy right now. So no issues with your feeding so far.

Normal. Growth rates vary with temps, feeding, housing, etc. a lot of variables

Thank you guys. If I may ask, how much will if grow on its next molt? Because I have read that there are specimens that are only 2.75" and within the next molt it grows to 4". I'm just curious on how big will it grow on average on its next molt. Thank you!
