Mine are growing rather slow room temperature, but people who keep them 80+ record quicker growth.
I expected them to grow really fast but they don’t Grow any quicker then brachys did in my care . This is just a survey to see people’s growth speed and results it seems regardless if you power or regular feed them the molts are always a waiting game. I’ve had some in pre molt for months . 80% of my ts are this genus .

You can't compare growth rates legit at all ever unless you know the following from the peeps who respond.

1. Temps
2. Frequency of feeding
3. Number of prey per feeding
4. QUALITY of food item, crix are crappy food, prey items rich in fat-Ts grow faster w/nutrient rich food.

  1. Room temperature around 70-75 . 75 during summer /70 winter 🥶
  2. once a month feeding
  3. One to two male Dubia roach a month , or two - four super worms .
  4. Medium quality feeders gut loaded , well fed Dubias . Some supers from pet store were maybe med quality also.

I don't own that genus. However I do keep my Ts at that temp range. I can tell you generally speaking my Ts grow more slowly than many with the same species who post on here particularly when I decrease feeding to once or twice a month, and I'm on crix 100% . The food quality is relevant impact for mine.

Mine is a tiny baby, but it sure is putting on a significant amount of size with each molt for the two molts I've owned it. 😅 Slightly outpacing the pampho I bought at the same time & size. DLS is about the same, but it just looks bulkier, the pampho is still mostly legs. Went from a little under an inch to a bit over 2" in the 11 weeks I've had it. So that's my expansive experience. I feed dubia as a staple, supplemented with BSF larva/flies, isopods, occasionally crickets or mealworms.

I keep mine at room temp, 72F. Feed about as frequently as you do. Feeding mine adult crickets, and juvenile hissing roaches for the last bit. Mines is close to 4" DLS right now, last molt was January 27th this year.
Abdomen just turned dark and a web mat has been put down, so a molt is near. Excited for a bigger LP! Hopefully more black and less brown.

LP slings were going for $3 a pop at a stand at the Puyallup convention. lol. I love em though!

All Ts grow quicker at higher temps but I don't find Lasiodora to be very special as far as growth rate is concerned. A geniculata grow way faster in my experience.
