Large orange beetles

Is there a type of potato beetle that is all orange with no black markings on it? I'm finding lots of them around here at night. I'll try to get a photo up tomorrow.

Try looking up "junebugs" we get them here and they are ~1/2" solid orange beetles... Bugguide seems to be down, but google should work for you.

That might be it! I'll have a look when I get home and see if this is the same thing. Either way, you can expect a photo tomorrow.

Photo attached. Here's one of the junebugs from my yard. I was trying to shoot a photo of this guy, and he landed on my shoulder. Talk about an awkward photo session...I had to hold the camera facing the opposite direction and hope for the best...
