Just messing around, but maybe something useful here for determining sex of immature specimens. I don't know if an easy way to sex immatures has been established, so let me know if one has.

I believe these images are representative of an immature male and female, and if all goes well with rearing, they may prove to be useful for sexing.

The reason I believe this is obvious morphological differences such as the immature 'male' having longer legs with a smaller CL/W, while the 'female' has shorter, stouter legs with a larger CL/W.

The 'male' is BL 28mm, and the 'female' is BL 30mm.

'Female' left, 'male' right.

hi,
yeah, please do so, since there´s no difference....at least not an obvious one ;P
If there is no difference, why would I have posted this thread?:?

Also, I suggest reading my original post again, and note keyword 'maybe' in first sentence. 'Maybe something', but I should also add 'maybe nothing'....
we shall see.

Hey thanks!

Can you explain what we're looking for here?
This might help:
Female/Male
