hmmm, i thought i had posted this here but i guess not.so here it is. i have built a communal viv for my liphistius malayanus. they do very well together. no aggression or anything. they even share burrows with no problems. anyhoo, they all have their own burrows and i have some nice moss and liverworts in there along with leaf litter and they love it. they have made some nice lids on their burrows and some nice triplines. here are some pics

there are 2 burrows in this picture. one lid is up top. it is very obvious. the other lid is the pile of leaves to the bottom of the pic. you can see a couple triplines it has made so far.


i am really excited that i can keep them communally with no problems. i have a few females, a subadult male and a few 1" small ones. i am getting anotehr group of them and hope to do the same thing with them as well.
