A friend's family was celebrating Christmas dinner, and turkey was on the menu. :} The friend's father-in-law was eagerly anticipating his turkey drumstick, and the mood was festive. They were all gathered in the living room, opening presents and such, when my friend heard some howling. It was coming from the laundry room, and upon investigating he discovered that the family cat had stolen a drumstick and retreated to eat it. There was nothing left but the bare bone, and the cat was so stuffed it was laying on its back with its paws in the air, howling, unable to move. The father-in-law was ready to strangle the cat, but he was laughing too hard. My friend even had to carry the cat to the litter box for the next couple of days. {D

OMFUG!

Now, really, who can say they hate cats when they see the humour involved in living w/them? :D

How funny!

My mom was furious at our cat when I was little b/c she had just cooked a turkey and left it sitting on the counter. We walked in the kitchen and the cat was in the middle of the turkey pigging out!

Cats are so funny!

That is a gorgeous "kitty." I think if I got a feline that size it might end up owning me! ;)

This wasn’t going to be a ‘look at my cat’ thread, but since Death1’s already gone there it’s time to share my kitty, Digger. And for those who have been clamoring for a picture of me as well, take a look toward the left-hand side!

BTW, did you know that Digger is the only feline to be banned from the boards? (Far as I know, anyway.) It’s true, he couldn’t post for a month, but Digger served his time and all has been forgiven. :D

Funny cat story...

We live on the northeast coast of USA... The story; Mouse-E, the serval pictured in this thread, was watching our cat food deleivery person unload our food. When the delivery guy was about to leave I esorted him back to his truck. We chatted for a couple minutes. He drove off and I came back to the house. Opening the door I find Mouse-E dragging a 20lb bag of cat food about 20ft and attempting to hide it in his blankie. Now the real fun... he was determined to keep it for himself. Other food, I tried to use to get him to let me have the bag, just wouldn't work. So I brought out the super soaker... I got the well chewed bag back... :embarrassed:

Yes, you need a permit to own one, which we have.

We have 5, 3 of which hate me, 1 hates the wife and she feeds them! Most all have bad days. One, Siss-E(F) is never scared of new people and greets us with head butts and a wet face. She steals sox like a klepto. Mouse-E enjoys stealing loafs of bread which he distributes about the house after shredding it. Paper towels are also targets.
