Kissing Bug - Triatoma Species?

I occasionally find these while out walking. I found one eating a bee last year. The nearest I can tell they are Triatoma species.

Assassin Bug

That is a type of assassin bug you have there. Its an Apiomerus sp. They feed on insects and not mammal blood like kissing bugs do. Great picture. What size is the bug?

Aha! Thank you for the id. :) I guess the one eating the bee should have been the dead giveaway for me. The specimen pictured was almost 1.0 inches (2.5cm) long. Next time I'll take a photo of the bug next to a coin for size reference.
