MilkSnake Setup + Qns

Hi mates,
i just got myself a young sinaloan Milksnake.
A friend told me that to kill the fuzzy b4 feeding as it might increase the kingsnakes aggression if they always eat live food?
how true is that ?

and also, i have problems thinking of a nice setup for it. i was thinking of a nice display viv
any of you guys out there with kingsnakes and display pics? will appreciate if u can post up !

I haven't seen any reason to believe that a snakes attitude is influenced by whether it's fed live or dead prey. The hatchlings I've produced (Tiger rats) usually have required live food for a few months before they'll take thawed. Their personalities remain the same after the switch, i.e. they usually act like they'd like to kill me. Feed in whatever way you feel is best. Thawed is easier, generally, and going with live consistently might occasionally result in a snake that will only eat live prey.

The kingsnake you have is likely to remain hidden most of the time, so a display cage will mostly just be displaying itself. If you do go with a larger display-type setup, make sure the snake has plenty of opportunities to hide. Without lots of shelter, snakes can stress out in high-visibility cages.

the attitude isn't going to change based on live vs ft prey... but dead prey is much safer to the snake... an adult mouse can do damage to a reptile.
