I just want to make sure this is a king snake because someone wants to trade me my black/white king for this one...IS this also a king snake?

because i dont like just any old snake. its suppose to be a king for a king.I think so If you like the snake who cares what it is. It isn't venomous so If you like it get it

Ok w/e I was just saying Does the label of kingsnake make that big of a difference? I mean if its disposition you are worried about that is always up to the individual snake IMO I am not trying to argue or pick a fight I am just stating my opinion I can understand wanting to know what you have but if it was a deal breaker I just don't get the principal behind it That's all I would tend to see it as a snake you have for a snake you want Maybe I am just different. I mean some people do pay $70,000 for a lexus when Its just a toyota with a different label and a higher price tagbecause i dont like just any old snake. its suppose to be a king for a king.
Why would i believe the deal then i give a king away for something i dont want? then I'm stuck with it
Even though i know the difference between many snake species there are still a lot out there that i cant identify.
So iam double checkin before or the trade.

Yes, it's a Lampropeltis mexicana. It looks like a juvenile. They get up to about 36 inches where as the California King (Lampropeltis getula californiae) gets up to 60 inches. If you want size, stick with what you have. Here's a pic of mine. Enjoy.
