Killer deal... kinda

So I listed a couple slings on craigslist and got a hit asking to trade a hog island female for two of the slings, these were by no means expensive slings, I paid maybe ten bucks total for the two. I asked him if there was anything wrong with the boa, he assured me that there was not. So I met up with him yesterday, he seemed like a really nice guy and quite respectful. The snake looked really healthy, so I made the deal and drive home. When I got home I heard a hissing sound coming from the enclosure, upon further inspection it looks as though it has a respiratory infection. Now it makes more sense but i still can't stand people who do this, imagine if I were a beginner to snakes and didn't recognize the issue. Anyways, I ended up asking for some help on craigslist and find a nice reptile specialist about forty minutes away that volunteered to help and give me everything I need to treat the snake for free.

As soon as the snakes healthy you come out on top... but i worry how the guy will care for the slings if he would rather get rid of a sick animal than help it.

I definitely come out on top. They're going for $150 for babies from reputable sites. I might just keep her though. She's growing on me.
