Well, since I'm finding so many cool bugs around my porch light, I think I'll just start a thread for pics of them instead of doing separate threads for each critter. Here are the latest finds... hope you like the accidentally artistic ones of the spider eating a moth. The red-light one was actually when I put my finger over the flash in hopes of lessening the flash. Instead the flash went right through my finger and made the red tint. I think it looks kinda cool though.

that red pic is a cool effect...i've seen moths like that at work. Pure white, very pretty. wonder how they'd look in a black light, i doubt they'd glow but who knows? ;P

i remember when i had a porch...man, that was a LONG time ago lol. i don't count my apartment walkway on the 2nd floor. bout the only thing i find here are tree roaches and moths. only seen one spider and it was in my bathtub...BAD spider...BAD! lol

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

I'm using an Olympus D-560 ZOOM. It's a great camera and it suits my needs but does leave something to be desired with the macro capabilities.

I'll post more pictures as soon as I see more cool critters outside my door.
