my long term captive Ball Python. I have had this snake for probably close to 10 years now, it was probably a yearling when I got it. it surprised me in that it has been greedily taking any leftover rat pups I have had almost all winter (it used to fast every year from the first rains in the fall until the first warm days of spring).
