Well I got a G. Rosea last week. She is 4" and I placed a large cricket in there. I was a little worried because of so many of you have described the rosea as a very eratic eater. But she ate it right up.

At times they will fast and not eat for long periods, but they can also wolf down food like crazy. My second MF rosea is on the skinny side, I just got her from my LPS and the first night I gave her 3 large crickets. She didn't want to eat for a couple days after, but has been eating one cricket a night since.

I loved my Rosea when it was in garbage-truck feeding mode. so much fun to watch it hunt crickets. I do miss my little Rosie.

Just make sure you don't feed her too much. Two large crickets per month should be more than enough, but if you enjoy feeding her a lot you could also get away with 3 or 4 per month. The trick with Ts is that the less you feed them, the less they grow, and the longer they live.

But they are so happy when they're stuffed....:D

j/k yeah I agree with the above post.

Just keep lots of Ts so you can witness feeding all the time AND have lots of spiders live a long time. :D
