Bah, you don't need caresheets. I personally hate caresheets. Anyways They're pretty aggressive spiders and will usually take down anything smaller than themselves, try feeding it flies or ants.

Why is everyone so interested in buying jumping spiders? Theres probably more than you can count sitting outside your house. Everyday last summer I must have seen 2 or 3 a day w/o evens looking for them.

Make sure you have him in a transparent or atleast semi transparent container, they need light.

Here is my kitchen "pet" jumping spider. I feed it about once a week, with tiny mealworms.

Haha, that's so awesome. How big is it? Have any idea what kind it is? Sometimes Salticidae spiders are hard to identify because of the different color morphs they come in. Anyways real nice pic!!

I caught one two days ago and have it in a vile. It is currently eating a cricket at least twice its size. When I take th elid off it looks at me as though it wants a piece.

Probobly going to free it in the apartment. I feel bad keeping him/her in the vial but I knew that if it stayed out side it would freeze soon. So now that it has had a nice meal I think I will let it go in a house plant.

Laila, that's so cool having a free-range "pet" spider. The poor spiders here die off during fall and there's not much you can do to keep em alive. Had a sheet-web spider, and Argiope sp. and a northern black widow die off on me. After giving me an eggsac each though. :D
