Hi I have a wild caught jumping spider that I believed to be a boy but recently has made a web in the corner and what looks to be some kind of sac. I wonder if it could possibly be female even though it is black with green pedipalps.I’ve had it for two months so I dont believe it to be possible that it’s pregnant. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like it could be eggs. Assuming you thought this was Phidippus regius, that is incorrect as they mainly live in Florida. This is Phidippus audax. The females are always black with green chelicerae.

Where are you located? Phidippus Audax males and females are both black. Females can sometimes lay infertile sacs but may also mate and not lay eggs for some time.
