I found a jumping spider today and it is missing its first and second leg on one side. I'm wondering if those legs will grow back. Do they have an ultimate molt?
I've had an adult female Phidippus audax (bold jumper) for about four months, and it hasn't molted yet. I think they only live a year or two, and probably do have a final molt, like most other spiders.
