Jumping spider question

What is a good source for identifying a specific species of jumping spider. I found one in the yard one day and have kept it since. She is incredible to watch hunt. However, other than knowing it is a Salticid, how can I identify the specific species. I haven't been able to get a good picture of her because she stays mainly in tube she built in the corner of the tank. If it helps, I live in Chicago, IL.

Also, what is the normal life expectancy of a jumping spider?
