I recently got a new red back jumping spider and I've read that they are Diurnal but the area that its enclosure is doesn't get enough sunlight and I have no other place to put her
I'm wondering what kind of light I can get to make her feel more comfortable without overheating her
Something that's thin or can stick on a shelf would be perfect

LED lighting comes in small packages with alot of light. They also don't give off the heat that and incandescent bulb would give off. You can find them fairly cheap also. They are sold as under cabinet LED lighting. Of they are too bright you can paint over the lens with a thin layer of spray paint to filter some of the light. Here is an example attached. 8AD882FB-893E-4122-8F97-8D1E6CB6310A.png

They don't need direct sunlight. Does the area get ambient light? Or is it somewhere totally dark, like a basement or closet?
