Jumping spider is waving at a fly in her enclosure. Why?

My jumping spider has exhibited a behavior I haven’t seen yet. Her pedipalps are moving up and down which I have observed to be a feeding response. But instead she spent a few minutes just waving her arms at it. Not her pedipalps, her front two arms. Just one front leg at a time for a few minutes before pouncing on it. A threat display is when they put both front legs up, and spreading the pedipalps to reveal the fangs. She was not doing that.

Does anyone have any explaination for this behavior and why she is doing it? She did eat the fly I just don’t understand the waving for 7 minutes before she pounced on it. :)
