Jumping spider doesn’t have grip or jump

I’ve had my Phidippus pius for about a month now (hes about 3 months old) , since I’ve had him he hasn’t settled anywhere in his cage and has barely webbed anywhere. He spends all of his time on the back wall or on the rocks on the floor even with lots of climbing places. And he has almost zero grip and stumbles around everywhere falling off things. I’ve also never once seen him jump!
He has eaten twice but with massive intervention (partially squishing the fly and holding him to it). He drinks a lot of water. I just don’t know what could be wrong with him or if it is just how he is? Does anyone have any advise? Thank you

Can we see a picture of him, as well as his enclosure?.

Has he molted for you yet?

Do his movements otherwise look purposeful?
