Jumping Regal unusual behavior

Immediately after arriving my I5 P.Regius went into a 9 day molt. He came out then hung out on the side of his enclosure for a few hours (may have done some stretching IDK). Noticed he is a little larger and sharper coloring. Now he has gone back into his cocoon for several hours. What gives? I’m thinking maybe to harden his exoskeleton??

Any thoughts?

How long since the moult? little one maybe looking for food they don't usually come out till they have hardened and may have gone bk in because was startled, remember little one hasn't had time to acclimatise yet, not if they came n went straight into a moult. So slow movements and quiet voice till they have settled more, the world's a scary place when your a tiny bean .

This is all natural really.

they molt. They come out a bit and oups, thats cold, they naked yeah. So right back in the hamac.
