Finally.... time for one of these. I'm getting fairly proud of my pictures. The new camera has some great macro (and super-macro) features. Bear with me as I learn them!

Bubbles, the H. lividum....6 months ago, then today.

Diva, A. hentzi, around Christmas, then a week ago.

Stripeybutt, the unidentified Haplopelma sp.

I have 7 others....but the pics aren't worth posting. More soon!

Well, I got her from craigslist....from someone who got her at a pet store, labeled as a G. rosea. She's pre-molt in the second picture. (Waiting ANY DAY for her to molt, in fact.) I don't have any better pictures of her, so I'll wait until she molts. Wouldn't surprise me if she's an Aphonopelma sp.....as I live in Oklahoma. (Though, she's much more colorful than the typical "Oklahoma Brown" tarantulas I see running around here.)

Haplopelma huwenum possibly (on the unidentified species)?????
The only pics of those that I brought up didn't even come close to what she looks like. Show me one like what you're thinking?? My girl is almost all jet-black except for the gold abdomen markings, and gold bands on the legs.

One of my versi's drinking from a huge water drop.

The 'pede, chomping on a cricket.

That's what I'm thinking. "Vonwirthi" or "Vietnam"... I rarely see her. She's been busy building....something lately. Kinda looks like a volcano rising from the corner of the tank. Silly pethole. ;) WAIT! I have another picture of her.... Wait for it.... This one is good....

I have NO idea why Lucy was on the screen that night. She scared the pee outta me though! I was half asleep, just doing a routine check of the spiders, certainly not expecting to see this.....

Now a few more pics from today. My kiddo and his friend wanted to hold the millipede! These are very cute pictures. :)

Kiddo's friend.

Kiddo.
