Not allowed to keep them in Australia, it is illegal to import them. I do have native Australian curtain webs though.

There gorgeous. Male and female, did you get a egg sac? I guess there has to be a balance with importing laws. There definitely has been non native species of spider that has been introduced into were I live and thrives here. How much those species are impacting my states forests and wildlife, I don’t know. To be honest I often browse all these families of Araneomorphs and mygalomorphs online and wonder why some of these species aren’t available to keep(I mean in the Dipluridae family there are many more genera other than linothele) but I really don’t know what impact they could cause on our ecosystem. How much will they effect our environments? The real question is, can you have it both ways(import some more new species under careful regulation) or is the impact of some of these species can cause to great.

Your pictures have improved from entirely unintelligible to pretty good, have you considered getting a camera? They're pretty fun toys ;)

They do look like fun toys but first I need to stabilize my financial situation 😉. Cheers

I'm kinda in the same boat, I can't get a macro lens for a couple months. I'm stuck taking pictures with a shotty kit lens, that's why all my sh- lacks DOF
