I have done my research on these and I feel like I'm ready to get my first jungle carpet python. However I want to be sure that I'm on par with my care requirements.
Temp - ambient - 75-80 degree Fahrenheit.
Temp - basking - 88-92 degree Fahrenheit
Humidity - 50-60%
A hide box for each end of enclosure.
A perch "optional" for climbing. These are classified as semi arboreal.
Water dish with distilled water (personal choice) filled and cleaned every 2 days.
A thin layer of news paper topped with Aspen bedding for substrate. Note: this is how I do my corn and ball python.
Cage size - adult female - 48" x 24" x 14" (L, W, H)
So basically if you can care for a ball python you can care for a JCP.
Am I missing anything?
