jacksons cameleon vs mellerie cameleon

I want to get a camleon but I cant decided between a jacksons cameleon or a mellerie cameleon. which would you choose, why? also any one know where i can find a quality care sheets for a jacksons and mellerie comeleon. Does any one own a jacksons or mellerie comeleon, if so can you give me any info or tips i should know. thanks for reading

I know zilch about chams but Jackson's are much more available. CB should be easier to find and cheaper too.

Neither are good for a "starter" chameleon. You would be better off starting with a veiled. They come from a relatively more arid environment so they aren't as touchy as jackson's or mellers. If you were set on one of those two, then a jackson's would probably be better. From what I've experienced they are hardier than the mellers. You can get cb jacksons, but most the mellers with few exceptions are wc imports. I keep my chams in the screened reptarium enclosures with live plants. Depending on your area you'll have to make sure you watch the humidity. They dehydrate easily. Fl Chams has a good general caresheet to get you started. Still if you don't have cham experience I think you should first try to keep a veiled or at most a panther (also easier than some of the others) alive then move on to the jackson's if you still like them.
