I've missed having a rat. :)

Last night, I was talking to Joe (xhexdx) about rats...I was showing him pictures of ones I've owned and I was remembering their names. It was kinda sad - I miss them! I happened to mention that I've always wanted a blue dumbo. Joe said that he had a blue hooded dumbo and offered it to me. Of course I said yes. So, today I got to pick up my newest rat. He's about a year old and I haven't picked a name for him yet.

These pics were taken while I was setting up his cage and he was hanging out in a cardboard box on my bed.

What a wonderful thing for him to do! I'm partial to blue dumbos myself. My favorite of all time was one. Your hooded dumbo is adorable.

i got my first rat awhile ago and ive discovered how great they are in fact shes sitting next to my computer right now.

That is a very nice rat and a nice gesture by Joe.They do make great pets and are very intelligent and most of the time social.I have owned three over the years and enjoyed every one.Best of luck with yours.
