A few weeks ago my taiwan beauty female gave me 12 eggs to look after, I was expecting that, yesterday my new adult female african house snake gave me another dozen to hatch. I got her in april, and havent bred her, so I guess I got 12 freebies with that order that came 3 months later.

I didn't take any pics of mom with the eggs, I didn't know how long they had been there, so I rushed them into the incubator.

Both my taiwan beauty snakes are quite calm and docile. She never even attempted to strike when I was robbing her eggs. She hissed a couple of times.. but she does that at nothing sometimes.

Well the house snake eggs have all hatched. I am waiting for them to shed now so I can offer them their first meals.

Congrats! I'm going to breed my first snakes this year (cornsnakes and sand boas). I've spent the last few months learning everything I can about breeding so I'm really excited to give it a try. I have the females so I hope to pick up some handsome males at the next reptile show. :D

Thanks,
This was my first year breeding snakes, Taiwan beauty snakes, whose eggs are still incubating. The house snake eggs were a surprise, the breeder I got the female from said she had already laid her clutch, and well.. she double clutched and now I have 12 happy, healthy babies.
