The darker the better! ;) :D My larger L. parahybana molted a few days ago, now her baby sis is in premolt! She's laid down a silk mat and is resting on it right now, so maybe it won't be too long before she'll actually shed.

Hopefully, next weekend she'll be back to her same ornery (but bigger) self kicking hairs at me again at lightspeed!

Pebbles or marbles, to keep uneaten feeder insects from drowning.
You are correct sir! Give that man a cee-garr. :D
I had been using small gravel taht comes with Beta tanks but the marbles just add a little more color to pics, and I need all the help I can get with my pics!

*Update*

Good lookin' girls there, SNAFU. How old and what size are they?
The L. para in these pics I bought from Patrick 14 months ago as a female sling about 1.5". My bigger one I picked up from Joel at SSW at about 4" in the Summer of '07.

Here's the post molt pics of Pandora. She's 6" now. I snapped these 8 hours after the molt.
My bigger girl has'nt given me a chance to get a good measure yet but she's between 7"-8".
