I woke up this morning to find my A. avic halfway through a molt... and it appears the leg she lost in the last molt has grown back!

I knew that this happens, but it's so cool to actually see.

Great news! Even the "common" things are so amazing with Ts. Especially the ones we love.

That is wonderful, it might look a little thinner than the others but as someone already said by next moult you won't be able to tell she ever lost it.

maybe you could post a pic, I think someone in the question and discussion forum was asking to see one.

I'll try to get a pic when she comes out of her web more... mid-molt, you could kind of see the leg, which looked thinner than the others, and was lighter in color. She's for the most part been hiding in some pretty thick webbing.

It is definitely thinner, though I bet if you weren't looking for it, you wouldn't even notice.

I'm trying to get a good picture of it, but I'm having issues with lighting. Either the picture comes out dark, or I end up with some sort of reflection. I think the closest I've come to a good shot is putting the camera right against the glass for a macro shot with the flash on, which gives me half of a great shot, but of course the other half is a shadow where the lens blocks the flash. Any of you photography buffs have any advice?
