Harry! or possibly Harriet! he/she is too young to probe so i don't know which way we're swinging yet:)...he/she is a 2 month old pure Aru locale GTP with a full dorsal stripe...he's from a high yellow daddy and a hormonal blue momma so i'm hoping for a very pretty kid as he ages:)

seeing a chondro at the zoo when i was 8 years old was what got me started wanting snakes...and now finally 23 years later i've gotten my hands on the perfect example of the perfect snake:)...

am i happy with my choice? i'd say i am!:)

nice snake!!! i am getting a GTP next year if the breeder i am buying from has all the babies she wants.

how sure are you that's it's a Aru locale? with GTPs they are usually referred to as 'type' (aru type, for example) because unless you actually go pick the thing out of the jungle it's almost impossible to tell for sure. the type designation just says "it shows all the traits of this locality but we can't say with 100% certainty"

regardless, awesome snake and i hope it grows up nice and healthy!

Beautiful baby! But, I have to warn you, chondros are like potato chips. You can't have just one...:)

at what age do they start to green up?
well from what i've read they can start to go green at as young as a year old...but i'm hoping he stays yellow a bit longer...with having a high yellow father he may even keep a fair amount of yellow into adulthood which would be awesome:)
