Isopods in snake enclosure?

Anyone ever put isopods in a snake enclosure? Say for instance, a BCI enclosure. I was thinking about it, but i dont wanna stress the snake, and would they help with tank maintenance at all, or would it be a lost cause?

What's it they're supposed to do in there? Snakes don't leave food residue and poo has to be taken out manually anyhow so that leaves you with... not much
