Here is a pic of my 1/8" Lasiodora parahybana ( Brazilian Salmon Pink), its abdomen is starting to turn darker and has hair on it.

Each time mine moults it doubles in size right now its probably 3.5". It used to be pretty docile but after the last molt and move it seems to be a little more skittish.Midnightcowboy said:If this is your first parahybana you're in for a treat! This is a great spider, I love mine to bits!![]()
unfortunately, yes....7-8 years for A. texense too....a lot of the Aphonopelma species from the US/Mexico border area are very slow growers....gustavowright said:Oh my Lord! 8 yrs to get mature..that´s long time man.I recently got one A.texense ling the same size as yours.Gosh...have to wait a decade!![]()
if your talking to me, no it jsut started refusing food and getting a darker abdomen.solaceofwinter said:wow! did your spider make any kind of web or burrow before its molt? im trying to find some more definite tell tail signs of a molt besides darkening and not eating.
