I just got this Avicularia Juruensis yesterday and was wondering if I could get some opinions on the cross ventilation I added to this enclosure alongside the ventilation on top added by the pet store. I know ventilation is very important for this species and wanna make sure I give my sling what it needs, I have done a lot of research on this species but don't see a whole lot of images of specifically ventilation and thought it would be as good idea to ask people who have owned the species before.
My main questions are:
1. Are there enough holes for the size of this enclosure to create ideal cross-ventilation for this species?
2. Are the holes on top going to create too much ventilation, release too much humidity for a sling, or create a similar problem with this species?
For reference, I made those holes with a push pin to get an idea of the size.
For some more information on the tarantula, I got them to eat for the first time very quickly today, they are about 1 inch, and I have seen them move around the top of their enclosure multiple times. I don't see any health problems which is also a good sign. They have also started webbing up their enclosure so I don't see any large signs of stress from them. This is my first Arboreal species so I don't know as much about these little guys. Appreciate the help in advance!
