i usually just buy dubias to feed my T, but this winter i have tried to make a small colony outoff the females and males i have so dubia breeding is new to me. Im not sure exact how many there is there, i think i have about 5-6 females and 3-4 males and a alot of new borns

i have a feeling this dubia is dead, but i want to ask to be sure so i dont stress her if she would be alive, She have been laying like this for atleast a day, might be longer but for long as i know atleast a day.

According to searchs on forum here they dont give birth on their backs but again i just want to be sure before i get rid of her.

And if shes dead, what could be the cause of this be since the white thing on the end of the dubia. did the give birth fail?

Take it between your fingers. Movement = alice, no movement = dead...

well i was thinking that, but if it was making birth i dont want to disturb it and end up stressing it which could lead to a death right? its why i was thinking i could ask before i do really touch it and see.

Just because i have a Tarantula, doesn't mean i enjoy watching animals/insects die. So do you have anything that can help what i'm asking or are you just having a bad day and need a punchbag?
Definitely dead, also I don't like the look of that " thing ". It's not an egg case, I would remove it ASAP and keep an eye on the others.
Normal birthing is when the mother carries the developing egg case around with it sticking out her rear, when it's fully developed she will lay it. It will resemble a large dark brown rice grain. As I say, get rid of it and keep an eye on the others.
