Is this a Vitalius platyomma ???

A friend of mine asked me to post this for him, he bought this T as a V. platyomma. However i don;t really think its one. She is already adult. Plz your opinion is important, doesn't matter that its not possible to be certain i onyl need your opinions.

It does not look like V. platyomma to me. I have an adult female and it looks nothing like mine.

Well, my platyomma is still a 1" or so sling, but I don't think that's a platyomma either. It should have a pinkish/purple "V" like shape behind the eyes. The shape/pattern on the carapace is totally wrong, even if it the color was off becuase of the picture.

Vitalius platyomma and Pamphobeteus sp. "platyomma" is the same spider. The scientific name depends on who you talk to. It's one of those species that is in limbo, and many believe it will make a full change to Pamphobeteus.

In my opinion, the spider pictured in this thread is not a platyomma, no matter which genus it belongs to.
