Is this a jumping spider?

I've been mostly researching and keeping tarantulas, and I just caught this cute little guy in my house. I live in Houston, TX if that helps with the ID. They are pretty small (maybe 3/16"?) and I only have my phone camera, so they are not good pictures. Still, even if just knowing it's a jumping spider I can work from there. Thank you.

Yea as far as I can tell that’s a jumper. Not sure on the species though. And if you can get a nice photo from the front i can probably sex it

Thank you. I just put it in its new temporary home while I do some research on them. Maybe they'll calm down in a bit and I can get a better picture. I added a just-killed flightless fruit fly for now.

Has it shown any interest in the fruitfly? If not u should probably put in a live one. They like hunting

It’s a juvenile Platycryptus undatus. Sex is unidentifiable at this stage
