Hi. I'm one of the mania live in South Korea.

Recently, One of the shops introduced "Thailand Blue".
The Shopmanager Said: It is Haplopelma livlidum, But it lives in thailand, So it grows much bigger and shows more blue color than normal Haplopelma livlidum.

Do USA, UK or Other countries compare 'Thailand blue" with normal Haplopelma livlidum?
I hope to get answers. thx

I am going to guess its a Lampropelma violaceopes another blue one and get up to nine inches

or

malaysian blue femur (coremiocnemis brachyramosa but now called Psednocnemis brachyramosa) which is kept like lividums

thx. but they sell 'haplopelma lividum'
(cuz I saw many pictures, and I had kept Psednocnemis brachyramosa. So I can compare them)

Is shops, or keepers distinguish haplopelma lividum 'Myanmar ' with 'thailand'?

if you are asking if its a new species of haplopelma its possible, haplopelma live in the part of the world that include Thailand. if you are wondering if their is two types of lividum one smaller than the other then no. we do not have two different version of lividum over here in the states (at least nothing I am aware of)

ultimately we would need a picture of what you are talking about to either id it or see if its just a normal lividum or another haplopelma species like the longipes

this is one of the cobalt blue-but shopkeeper said this is the one from thailand, it grows bigger, shows more blue color than normal cobalt blue.

Is it true?

Sounds like the shop keeper is just trying to make an extra buck. So I'd so no, not true as far as I know.

The shopkeeper could possibly also be referring to albostriatum that goes by the common name Thai Zebra. The albostriatum is the less colorful of the two though.

Never trust the shopkeeper. Of course, there are exceptions, but those are rare. I wouldn't buy that spider if I were you.

Some discussion on lividum variation here:
http://www.the-t-store.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=6804
and here:
http://www.arachnophiles.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?3448-Lividum-DCF

The general consensus seems to be that the ones coming from Thailand are smaller and brighter, and the ones from Burma are bigger and darker. Although there will of course be variations in each population, and between each spider, and also depending on how the spider is kept ;)
Thanks for the links!
