WAIT, no one can tell you anyway.

There's billions of questions of "is T in pre-molt?" search the forum and you will learn more info.

A safe distance? They can barely see. You could be 1mm away or 1 mile away, and they'd have no idea.

She slammed the door shut.
She wants to be left alone.

yess. thank you. definitely, I've watch videos and joined other fb groups for all the other things I need to know and somehow I want interactions too with my y'all my fellow hobbyist. my entire 2nd Floor is made of wood, so I can tell if there's some one who's walking around, I feel it. and so my Ts feel it too. Even my OBT will hide if I'm walking around near the enclosure, that's why I say I watch my albiceps in safe distance, or walking on tiptoes last night to lessen the vibrations that could freak my albiceps(if she's on pre molt).

you walking doesnt make a difference they get used to it my cat is on my t cages everyday . there must have been times they were molting and she jumped onto their cages.since you have a decently clear view of your t keep an eye on its but the blacker it becomes the closer to a molt it will be use the search function here read up more on the pre molt signs good luck

No prob. One thing I learned early on is their sensitivity to vibration varies across specimens. Some vibrations don't affect one, but do another, and it's not obvious what vibration, nor which specimen will react.

Well, atleast you can SEE the burrow. Which is great. Tarantula gave you a gift by making it this way.

if not done already, you can add black paper or cardboard to “mask” it. Then you can always check in. But with the natural darkness, it helps.

that being said, with the picture provided, i can see it did shed urs and is looking like the abdomen is moving towards premolt. Of course it needs to darken more.

all you need to do now is open your beverage of choice, and sit back.
