This is not skinny by any use of the word especially for an Avicularia! It looks perfect!

I love him. He’s a cool guy. I have a female Versicolor, Nebula, but she hides all the time in her web lol. Mr. Pearl LOVES to be seen 😁

Some tarantulas have more spheric abdomens, and some, more oblong. And when they are fresh out of a molt and can be surprising because they can molt small. Buts its normal. It grows like a balloon after a few feeds.

Skinny unhealthy abdomens, you can really tell. The tarantula doesnt look well all over.

This is my nhandu color. Shes over 4.5” inches. Her abdomen is “smallish” but its good and plump. She molted over a month ago and just started eating.
