If you mean their wood glue, aliphatic resin, it is claimed to be non toxic

Aquarium sealant would be safer. It's designed to be in water with fish.

Coincidentally, while studying fine art restoration last night, the conservator was griping about wood glue having been used which over a period of time tends to degrade in the presence of moisture and can harbor mold.

I've used hot glue around my jumpers terrarium without any problems and you can find them at the dollar store for less than $5 with glue sticks included.

White glue is water soluble. If your spider intends to use the enclosure as a submarine, that could be a problem.

Just to mention, hot glue isn't a glue in the normal sense. It is any of numerous low melt temperature plastics. The general rule with plastics is if they are inert, stable, don't degrade in the normal environment, they are non toxic.
