If you have or "can get" D. Variegatus, it's Phrynus Whitei or Damon Medius. Never seen an actual Variegatus for sale.
As for if they're arboreal animals - yes. Most hobby amblypygi are strictly arboreal. However, certain species will spend more time on the ground than others. I'd classify like, two genus of amblypygi as "terrestrial", but climbing is still integral to their health. In fact, if you don't have an arboreal set up with adequate places to molt, they'll die.
I encourage you to use the search bar on Amblypygi care, before you get one - I definitely respect questions but this is a question on the most basic level of care for these animals. You can never do too much research
