IRBA show

on september 13 im going to the IRBA show in san mateo, ca. this is my first pet trade show. anyone who has been to similar events, what can i expect there and what t's do they have for what price? how much less woud they be than pet store price? thnx

I believe that LLLreptile and reptile depot will be there,(not sure who else will be there) they were at the Sacto show, they didn't have a huge selection, but their prices are sort of good. At the sacto show reptile depot had Costa rican tiger rumps juv-sub adults for $65. A purps for the same, and they were s'lings. usambaras for $10,to give a small example. Compared to online if you figure in the shipping it almost works out bout the same. I'm going to E-mail invertapet to see if he's going to be there since he is in Navato.
My best bet is to go the first day to get the best picks, Which is what I'm trying to do, if my work sched, works out, trying to get the day off

I've been to one and there weren't too many T's. mostly reptiles. As Hairyspider suggested, go on line and get some printouts of dealers price lists. Armed with those you might be able to cut some deals. Good luck.

thanks. ya ima try to go the first day and even if they dont have a wide selection of T's im sure their prices will be OK and if not i could always order online. cant wait til the 13th...

I think you should be able to find some good deals if you go early, the biggest advantage you have to going to the show is saving on the shipping costs.

I personally thought that LLL Reptile and Reptile Depot had a decent selection at the Sacramento show. Between the two, hopefully you will find the T's you are looking for.

I'm hoping I'll be able to go to the San Mateo show, but it probably won't be until Sunday.

I got a reply from Invertapet, they said "hopefully we will be there but haven't "nailed it down" yet"..I sure hope they make it.

was able to make a switch in work scheds. and will be attending the show=D I might go in early (4am uuuugggghhhh) and not take a lunch so I can make it there by 1pm, hopefully there are still some good pick'ns. Would like to get 2 more Avics. preferably a minatrix, latea, or another that isn't blue when full grown, any suggestions? so I can be on the look out.

Hey spider twin, if you can't go until sunday would you like me to let you know what kind of selection the vendors have?
