IRAQI SPIDERS! odd little guys

These pictures are from a good friend of mine that is serving the US in operation Iraqi Freedom. He is stationed between ramadi and fulja. He knows i like T's so he sent me these pics of the spiders that are in the camp. They have chase the tanks to stay in the shade during the day. Creepy!

Does anyone know what these things are?
They sort of resemble T's. Maybe he will bring me back one.

I'd assume it's a huntsman spider of some sort.
That thing looks massive .

I agree...looks like Heteropoda.

I wouldn't mind having some either. They do look huge.

My guess is some Palystes sp.

that is a different order of arachnids, Solifugae

the Sicariidae link is a bit thin... there should be some sort of Six-Eyed Giant Crab Spider too... note: some Sicariidae crabs can have pretty nasty venom
