For all you UK readers, I seem to remember there is an invert show coming up in September just outside of Lincoln. Thing is, I can't remember the date. Can anybody tell me what date it is on? I need to know so I can book the day off work :)

Thanks.

Yeah that's probably the one.

Are you guys going to it? I'm trying, but my funds are pretty short, what with going back to college and having to buy all clothes and that crap :/ Also I just spent a fair bit on a much-needed digital camera

I havn't been to one in Lincoln for a good.... 6 years or so now though!

I'd like to go but my funds are dire too, what with my kids going back to school and my wife having the audacity to have a birthday this month. If money falls from the sky I'll be there in a shot.

OK, so this is on tomorrow and I am going to go. Who else is going and how far are you travelling from? I think I will set myself a budget of around £50 to buy a new adult spider, whichever one takes my fancy

Well, the show has now been and gone. I was only there for about an hour but I still had a good time and bought myself a H gigas which I have wanted for a while. It's only a spiderling but it was only £1 so that was good. I also bought a new aquarium for my P regalis as he is starting to get a bit too big for his petpal. I also bought a green mantis. Can't remember what the actual name is so I will have to have a look and get back to you on that one.

My girlfriend also got friendly with a meerkat that was there. It was very friendly and we got a photo. Will post that later after I get picture from my friend's digital camera. :)
