My new P. Regius (and first ever pet spider!) arrived today alive and well. She is a juvenile and seems to be a female to my best reckoning. I named her "Bijou" as it means jewel in french and they have such lovely shiny colorful chelicerae. She is wonderfully active and loves exploring her new home.
Here she is enjoying a nice werm.

Please enjoy this feeding vid/meme starring miss Bijou~I got her "small" size mealworms at the store, but should I have gotten mini? I have heard from some sources that jumpers are fine to take down larger prey (she took down this worm easily of course) but I have heard from others that the prey needs to be smaller than the spider's abdomen. Can they overeat? I would appreciate any advice.
