Greetings All,
Today i had an interesting conversation at my local petstore.
I guess you could say i'm a semi-dark sider.... the guy who runs the petstore also supplies herps & inverts for Fear Factor
apparently within the last couple months FF used a bunch of sun spiders (i don't know what family, i think multiple species/genus/families) and apparently these poor beasts are sitting in someones freaking living room rightnow.
The guy i talked to was only a helper, but he said the owner might be looking to get rid of them... i already bought 4 off of him a month or two ago... 1 of which is still sort of alive...
anyways, i have no real interest in keeping these, as i am apparently not good enough to keep them alive... but there has been a lot of interest expressed here.
so my question is this: if i can get some solpugids of like, dubious health, would anybody be interested? i can probably get some pics or something, if anybody is interested.
i want to be absolutely clear, here, though: sun spiders in optimal health and the best circumstances die rather quickly, it seems... and if i can get any, i rather doubt they will be optimally healthy
another thing, i live in U.S., in California... and don't want to ship internationally (wouldn't even know where to line up to get the permits)
thoughts?

well, i talked to the owner yesterday and he had no idea what i was talking about.
so it was a rather odd waste of time. i'm sorry... i thought there was a bunch of bugs just wasting away... i have no idea what the helper guy was talking about.
