The "wasp" above actually looks like a Butterfly/Moth wasp mimic of some kind.

Nice pics. You should have went into the mountains and discovered a new insect and named it after your self. Because the mountains up there are crawling with Unidentified insects.

This mantid looks like Choeradodis sp. (rhombicollis ?).

Great pics! I too believe that is actually a moth and not a wasp. A wasp "mimic". Can be very convincing. Here are some I found in my back yard. These are moths. Some people can't touch them even when they learn they are just moths. Visuals can be very powerful. Like TV commercials..Ha!

The mantis is very nice. I belive as this wasp is isn t wasp but buttefly who is the meastro of mimikri. it is koping wasp from pepsisidae genus.

"Flying stick insect", I didnt realize until I saw the pic, if he moved up about a inch, he'd prob blend right into the center of the leaf.

I'm not a real big butterfly person but I have to say that the butterfly with the clear wings is pretty amazing. I do like the big moths. Like their caterpillars even better. I wonder if that hot looking mantis uses that modified thorax in flight somehow. I know it's for camo. but it looks like it could be used for flight purposes too.
